LOS MENOR3S and Jaxxtone Shake Up the Latin Music Scene with Their New Single “Cali Calipso”: A Fusion of Electronic Music and Venezuelan Tradition

The trio has just released a new single as a preview of an upcoming EP expected in summer 2026. “Cali Calipso” is an experimental proposal that pays tribute to traditional roots, backed by the production of Jaxxtone, aka Just Jorge, key collaborator of Diplo and co-writer of global hits

Miami, FL (May 28, 2026) — LOS MENOR3S, established as one of Venezuela’s most exciting young acts with growing international projection, mark their highly anticipated return in 2026 with the release of their new single titled “Cali Calipso.” More than reaffirming their position as a creative force among emerging talent, the track introduces a new rhythm to the global music scene through bold and disruptive sonic experimentation.

“Cali Calipso” encapsulates the group’s identity: a fusion of urban rhythms, electronic music, and a strong Caribbean influence inspired by calypso, a genre historically tied to celebration, movement, and Afro-Venezuelan and Caribbean cultural expression. The result is a vibrant, energetic track aligned with LOS MENOR3S’ fresh and dynamic identity.

To bring the song to life, the group joined forces in the studio with Jaxxtone, aka Just Jorge, a Venezuelan producer signed to Sony Music Publishing and Mad Decent. Jaxxtone is recognized in the international music industry for his work with artists such as JHAYCO, Quevedo, Major Lazer, and Diplo.

“I remember Jorge came into the session and told us he was from Ciudad Bolívar. That’s where the color of the song came from and the idea of making a calypso record. When he started building the beat, my uncle Servando grabbed the cuatro and began playing the melody that opens the song, that’s what gave ‘Cali Calipso’ its heart." Jorge is incredible, such a cool and creative young guy,” shares Nego.

The Venezuelan group LOS MENOR3S continues expanding its reach within the Latin music scene following their participation at the UNSIN Music Conference & Festival held in April 2026, one of Miami’s most relevant cultural gatherings focused on music, innovation, and creativity.

With an artistic identity in constant evolution and a strategy that integrates performance, digital culture, and direct connection with audiences, LOS MENOR3S represent a new wave of Venezuelan talent redefining the sound of contemporary Latin music. The group will soon announce the release of an EP planned for summer 2026.
