  • Best Contemporary Mexican Music Album - Dinastía (Deluxe)

The recognition arrives amid another extraordinary year for Peso Pluma, whose influence continues to extend far beyond music and into fashion, sports and global culture. Currently the most-nominated artist at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards with 17 nominations, Peso Pluma continues to build on a career defined by groundbreaking achievements and an ability to take música Mexicana to unprecedented heights. Just this week, the typically private superstar made a rare public appearance at LUAR’s New York Fashion Week show, stepping into the spotlight in New York City dressed head-to-toe in the brand and seated front row alongside Winnie Harlow, Shenseea, Bad Gyal and more.

Following the release of his chart-topping collaborative album DINASTÍA, Peso Pluma embarked on the 36-date, sold-out DINASTÍA by Peso Pluma & Friends Tour across the United States, while the album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums and Regional Mexican Albums charts. His growing list of milestones also includes becoming the first-ever recipient of the Billboard Vanguard Award, while Double P Records, the label he co-founded with George Prajin, was named Top Regional Mexican Label of the Year, and returned with three additional nominations this year.

His influence has become equally undeniable across global culture. In 2025, the CFDA named him the first-ever Mexican ambassador for New York Fashion Week, followed by a headline performance at ComplexCon. In 2026, he joined Karol G during her historic Coachella headlining set and later performed at BMO Stadium on the opening day of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. With more than 44 million monthly Spotify listeners and over 9 million YouTube subscribers, Peso Pluma continues to transcend music, bringing música Mexicana to some of the world’s biggest stages and further cementing his position as one of the defining Latin artists of his generation.
