Miami, FL (October 23, 2025) — Following the worldwide triumph of his sophomore album SENDÉ, Colombian powerhouse Ryan Castro returns with HOPI SENDÉ — an explosive 13-track new album packed with dancehall-driven anthems and high-impact collaborations that spotlight his Caribbean essence, drawing from the sounds that shaped his artistry during his time living in Curaçao.
Taking its name from the Papiamento phrase meaning “more Sendé,” the album serves as Ryan’s personal thank-you to fans for the overwhelming love and support of his previous project, released in May. Featuring collaborations with Major Lazer, Sean Paul, Sech, Kapo, Chris Lebrón, Tanto Metro & Devonte, Rayo & Toby, and DFZM, HOPI SENDÉ highlights its focus track “Botapafo,” which began generating buzz on social media prior to release — amassing millions of views on TikTok through its trending audio — along with “Pelinegra,” which has already sparked viral creations on the platform.
The new album arrives on the heels of his SENDÉ World Tour kickoff in Europe with sold-out shows, before he makes his way to his only concert in Colombia this year at Bogotá’s Coliseo Medplus on October 31 — a sold-out show that moved over 19,000 tickets in under eight hours. The tour will later wrap in the United States in November, with shows in Chicago, Miami, Houston, New York, and Los Angeles.
Ryan’s previous album, SENDÉ, released earlier this year, was named one of the 25 Best Latin Albums of 2025 by Billboard and featured in Rolling Stone’s mid-year roundup as One of the Best Albums of the Year. In addition, it debuted in the Top 10 of Spotify’s “Top Albums Global Debut” chart. The Medellín-born artist continues to dominate streaming platforms, currently holding five tracks on Spotify Colombia’s Top charts: “Ba Ba Bad Remix,” “Sanka,” “Dónde,” “Bombastik,” and “Ojalá.” Adding to his streak of international hits, Ryan recently teamed up with Panamanian star Sech for “Novio No,” which quickly soared to #1 on Spotify Panama.
