Miami, FL (October 23, 2025) – Música Mexicana powerhouse producer Ernesto Fernandez earns a 2025 Latin Billboard Award for “Producer of the Year,” further solidifying his status as a trailblazer in Latin music. The Latin Billboard Music Awards 2025 were held in Miami, FL on October 23, 2025.

Ernesto Fernandez is a prominent music producer, known for being the mastermind behind some of the biggest hits in Latin music. The genius behind many of Peso Pluma’s notable hits include "Ella Baila Sola," "LA DURANGO," "Carnal," "LA PEOPLE II” and "ROSA PASTEL,” among others. Beyond Peso Pluma, Fernandez’s impressive roster features some of Latin music's biggest names, such as Eladio Carrión, Xavi, Junior H, Santa Fe Klan, Jasiel Nuñez, Luis R Conriquez, Tito Double P, Becky G, Christian Nodal and Los Dareyes de la Sierra, among others. His recent work has rocketed him into 40 spots on Apple Music’s Top 100 Mexico and 21 positions on Spotify’s Top 50 Mexico charts, with hits featuring Tito Double P's debut studio album INCOMODO and Peso Pluma’s sophomore album GÉNESIS. Fernandez’s projects have spent 70 weeks on the Billboard charts, including 33 weeks at No. 1, establishing him as an unstoppable force in the industry.
