RYAN CASTRO DRAWS 77,000 FANS ACROSS MEDELLÍN FOR SOLD-OUT LANDMARK STADIUM SHOW AT ATANASIO GIRARDOT

Medellín, Colombia (April 26, 2026) – Global hitmaker Ryan Castro delivered the biggest moment of his career Saturday night, making history with a sold-out stadium show at Medellín’s Estadio Atanasio Girardot, a cultural event that brought together 77,000 fans simultaneously across the city.

A total of 47,000 fans filled the stadium, while an additional 30,000 gathered at a free, live-streamed viewing party held at La Feria de Ganado, presented in collaboration with Telemedellín, Metro de Medellín, and the Secretaría de Juventud de Medellín. Over the course of a five-hour show, the city-backed initiative transformed the concert into a citywide experience, marking one of the largest simultaneous audiences ever achieved by a Colombian artist.

Fresh off his standout surprise performance at Coachella during Karol G’s Weekend 2 set, Castro carried that same high-energy momentum into Medellín with a career-defining show featuring a lineup of 17 major special guests. The night was highlighted by Sean Paul, who joined Castro to perform “Ba Ba Bad Remix” live for the first time, alongside appearances from MalumaFeidMora, and J Balvin, who took the stage for tracks from their upcoming joint album Omertà, turning the concert into one of the most high-profile moments in global Latin music this year.

At the heart of the production was a groundbreaking stage design: the largest ever built in the stadium in a non-360 format, setting a new benchmark for live entertainment in Colombia. Designed with a Caribbean-inspired layout, it transformed the venue into a fully immersive experience, tracing Ryan Castro’s evolution from El Cantante del Ghetto to the Dancehall rooted sound he explores in Sendé and Hopi Sendé.

The impact extended far beyond the stadium. In a defining cultural moment, the city of Medellín embraced the event with the launch of a special-edition Cívica transit card by the Medellín Metro with 24 hour service, honoring Castro and commemorating the concert. The initiative reflects the city’s ongoing tradition of integrating mobility and culture, previously seen with global icons such as Madonna, Beyoncé, and Karol G.

The success of his Medellín stadium show arrives just ahead of the highly anticipated release of his joint album, Omerta, with J Balvin, set to drop on May 7. Presave HERE.
