Miami, FL (January 13, 2026) – XAVI, the leading voice of música mexicana’s new generation, celebrates seven nominations at Premio Lo Nuestro 2026, further solidifying his artistic growth, cross-genre impact, and global reach.

Xavi is recognized across multiple genres and top categories, including Mexican Music – Male Artist of the Year, as well as Mexican Music – Album of the Year for Next. Xavi also earns nominations for Mexican Music – Song of the Year with “Hija de Papi” alongside Netón Vega, and Mexican Music – Fusion of the Year for “No Capea” with Grupo Frontera. His cross-genre hit is further highlighted with nods for Afrobeat Song of the Year for “Bien Pedos” with Kapo, Pop Collaboration of the Year for “La del Primer Puesto” with Reik, and Tropical Collaboration of the Year for “En Privado” featuring Manuel Turizo.

His global hit “En Privado” earned widespread acclaim and was notably included among Barack Obama’s favorite songs of the year, while “No Capea” became a defining anthem, peaking at #1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart and #1 on Mexico’s General and Popular radio charts. Meanwhile, “Bien Pedos” further showed Xavi’s cross-genre reach, earning recognition as one of NPR’s Latin Summer Anthems.

ABOUT XAVI:

Xavi is the leading voice of Música Mexicana’s new generation, with over 4.8 billion career streams.
