MYKE TOWERS EARNS FIVE NOMINATIONS AT PREMIOS JUVENTUD 2026

The recognition comes at a major moment in the Puerto Rican artist’s career as he continues his European tour while adding to his success across Billboard charts and U.S. Latin radio.


MIAMI, FL (July 28, 2026) – Myke Towers has earned five nominations at the 23rd edition of Premio Juventud, marking another milestone in a standout year for the Puerto Rican superstar and further cementing his status as one of Latin music’s leading artists.

His nominations include:


  • Premio Juventud Male Artist

  • Best Urban Mix for “5 Estrellas,” alongside W Sound and Ovy on the Drums

  • Best Urban Rhythmic Song for “Tengo Celos”

  • Best Urban Trap Song for “TOPSHELF,” alongside Kris R.

  • Best Urban Album for ISLAND BOYZ


The awards ceremony will take place on September 3 at the Starlite Auditorium in Marbella, Spain, marking the first-ever edition of Premio Juventud to be held in Europe as part of PJ Fest, TelevisaUnivision’s new cultural and music festival. Fan voting will be open from July 28 through August 10, giving audiences the opportunity to support their favorite artists through Premio Juventud’s official platforms.


The five nominations reflect the impact of Myke Towers’ latest releases and arrive as he continues his European tour, which has taken him across Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and the Netherlands, performing at some of the continent’s biggest summer festivals and further expanding his international reach.


In recent weeks, Myke Towers achieved another career milestone with “5 Estrellas,” alongside W Sound and Ovy on the Drums, earning his 17th No. 1 on the Billboard Latin Airplay chart. The single also reached No. 1 on the overall chart and remains atop the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart for a second consecutive week. Its success has extended to U.S. Latin radio, where it has spent five consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Monitor Latino’s U.S. Urban chart, while also leading both the General and Pop-Rhythmic charts for two consecutive weeks.
