The sold-out concert in Paris further underscores the band's growing international momentum and continued emergence on the global stage as they continue their European run as the official opening act on Bad Bunny's DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour. After introducing their music to tens of thousands of fans each night in arenas across the continent, the Puerto Rican quartet has continued to build momentum beyond the tour stage with successful headline performances in Madrid, London, and now Paris. Together, the sold-out shows reflect the growing international demand for Chuwi and signal the band's emergence as a compelling live act well beyond Puerto Rico and the United States.

Recognized as part of the Future 25 by Rolling Stone en Español, highlighting the artists defining the future of music, Chuwi continues to build momentum as one of the most exciting rising forces in Latin music. The Puerto Rican quartet was also featured on the NME 100 of 2026 and named one of Billboard’s 26 Latin Artists to Watch in 2026, further solidifying their growing global profile. Formed in Isabela, Puerto Rico, the group is composed of siblings Lorén, Willy, and Wester Aldarondo, alongside family friend Adrián López. Together, they are reshaping the island’s contemporary sound through a fusion of salsa, plena, and modern Caribbean rhythms, paired with emotionally driven songwriting and layered musicianship. Their breakout moment arrived with “WELTiTA,” featured on Bad Bunny’s DtMF album and performed during his No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí residency, a collaboration that propelled the group onto the international stage. The track went on to earn Chuwi their first nomination at the Premio Lo Nuestro for The Perfect Mix of the Year, as well as a nomination at Premios Tu Música Urbana Mix 2026 in the category of Artista Indie/Alternativo. The group later delivered a standout performance at the 26th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards, opening with “Tikiri” before transitioning into “WELTiTA,” joined onstage by Bad Bunny. Chuwi also appeared on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series during Latin Music Month, delivering an intimate performance that showcased their versatility across “Falta Algo,” “Tikiri,” “Tierra,” “Guerra,” and “Navidades en Cataño.” Most recently, the session was released as an official project titled CHUWI (Live from NPR’s Tiny Desk), transforming their breakout NPR debut into a fully realized live recording. With over 7.3 million monthly Spotify listeners and rapidly expanding international recognition, Chuwi continues to evolve as one of Puerto Rico’s most dynamic contemporary acts, carrying the island’s sound and spirit into a new global era.
