For Kidd Keo, born Pàdua Keoma Salas Sánchez in Alicante, the fight represents a new challenge. The artist revealed he has been training for more than a year and a half in preparation for stepping into the ring at La Velada, an event he has followed closely in previous editions.
“This is something I’ve wanted for a long time,” Keo said during the announcement. “When I step into that ring, I’m coming with the same intensity I bring to everything I do.”
Across the ring will stand Lit Killah, the Argentine artist who rose from freestyle competitions such as El Quinto Escalónto become one of Latin America’s most recognizable urban stars. Their bout is expected to be one of the standout clashes of the night as fans anticipate a heated encounter between the two artists.
While preparing for the fight, Kidd Keo continues to remain active musically, recently releasing “VAMONOS 2.0” via DBT EMPIRE, a new version of the fan-favorite track originally featured on his 2020 album BACK TO ROCKPORT.
With ten fights confirmed, La Velada del Año 6 is expected to be the biggest edition yet of the event, which combines boxing, music, and internet culture for a global streaming audience of millions.
On July 25, Kidd Keo will bring his competitive energy from the stage to the squared circle in Seville, ready to prove himself in an entirely new arena.
