Miami, FL (January 13, 2026) – Global Latin dancehall and urban artist Ryan Castro continues his unstoppable momentum with five nominations at Premio Lo Nuestro 2026.

Castro is nominated across multiple top categories, including Urban – Album of the Year for his acclaimed project Sendé, as well as Urban – Song of the Year and Crossover Collaboration of the Year for “Ba Ba Bad Remix” alongside Kybba, Sean Paul, and Busy Signal. Additional nominations include Afrobeat of the Year for “Sanka” with Dongo, and Urban – Collaboration of the Year for the hit “+57” alongside Karol G, Feid, DFZM, Ovy on the Drums, J Balvin, Maluma, and Blessd.

Castro’s Gold-certified album Sendé was highlighted by Billboard and Billboard Latin among the Best Albums of 2025, with additional recognition from Rolling Stone en Español, cementing the project as a defining body of work in his career. Meanwhile, “Ba Ba Bad Remix” emerged as one of the summer’s biggest hits, reaching the Top 5 in Colombia and charting on Billboard’s Colombia Hot 100.

RYAN CASTRO, dubbed as "El Cantante Del Ghetto" is a Colombian artist whose journey from street busking in Medellín's Pedregal neighborhood to global stardom is nothing short of remarkable. Before making his breakthrough in the music industry with his single “Morena” in 2017, Ryan lived in Curaçao for several years, where he immersed himself in the sounds of Reggae and Dancehall, further shaping his musical identity.
