My name is Esteban
Reyes Baez and artistical name Jr La Voz Romantica. I was born in Caguas,
Puerto Rico. I am 29 years old. I have been in the music business for over 5
years. At two years old I moved to Cayey, P.R. where I grew up. I started out
singing Romantic Reggaeton, then i was more inspired in bachata even though i
have more ballads. I have written all my songs except for two which my father
wrote for me, Esteban Reyes Sr. Since I was little I have been
inspired musically...My grandfather on my mothers side played the percussion
like the guiro and sang chorus. My uncles on my father's side played
instruments such as the saxophone, flute, congos, and tamborines with a
variety of groups. That is why i have continued this line of music as a singer.
I have had interviews on various spanish shows such as El Show de Eddie Miro on channel 6 prtv, Somos o No Somos with Tato Hernandez on channel 2.2 Telemundo P.R. and also on the show Jangeo TV in Wapa America.
I have also performed in activities such as the marathon of Sambla in Coamo P.R. where I opened the show for Ivy Queen, and the camp of Ser D.T.M. in Barranquita P.R. and in the Albergue del los Animales in Guaynabo P.R.
I have performed in special fundraisers, one was for a graduating class of Cayey, P.R and one was for Ishmarie, a child battling with Cancer, also in Cayey.
I have appeared in newspapers such as La Corillera in Cidra, Cayey, Aibonita, P.R. and in the newspaper la Semana in Caguas P.R.
In 2014, i decided to leave the Island of Puerto Rico to pursue my career in the U.S.A. First I went to Florida where I had the opportunity to be on the program "De Todo Un Poco En Las Noches". I also been on the radio station "Sabado de Ritmo" in Orlando, Florida.
After a short time in Florida, I decided to move to Springfield, MA to continue pursuing my career. It is there where I met my wifemanager Dalia Reyes. In 2015, I have had performances in nightclubs such as Sexy lounge in Hartford, CT and also in Odyssey 54 in Springfield MA.
I also had the honor of having a report done on me on the show in New Jersey called En Directo with Ana Pereyra on Mundo Fox.
I have been able to work along side my producer Max Davius El Actefakto to work on my first mixtape "Vivo Por Amor".
I have currently released the song "Quiero Que Sepas" which I wrote and dedicated to my wifemanager Dalia Reyes. Together we have been promoting it and getting it played on radio stations including countries like Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay amongst some cities and some states as Boston, New York, NewJersey, and California. It even was in the Top 20 in Ecuador.
Dalia and I released a photo slide show video to go with the song but currently
working on the official music video produced by Don Chito. The scenes are taken
directly from the day of our wedding.
I also have the honor of being nominated in the New Voice Music that is held in Miami, Florida on November, 19 2015. I have nominated in the Fammaton Awards Music that will be held in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on December, 6th 2015 for the song Quiero Que Sepas.
I give thanks to God for the many opportunities and blessings that I have been offered in my career. I also give thanks to my fans for their love and support.
